AGRICULTURE DEPARTMENT

SR. NO.147. QUALIFICATION:

i) Master’s Degree (2nd division) in Statistics / Mathematics / Economics with compulsory paper of Statistics or Economics has been equated with Master’s degree in Economics with optional subject of Statistical Methods approved by (QEDC) of Agri. Department vide Notification No E&A (Agri) 1-2/2000-P dated 05-10-2009.


ii) One year’s experience in the collection & tabulation of data and / or application of Statistics Methods and graphic presentation of data & or applications. OR


Master’s degree from a Foreign recognized University (other than an Indian University) in Statistics / Mathematics / Economics.
AGE: 21 to 35 + 05 years general relaxation in upper age limit as per Government of the Punjab, S&GAD circular letter
No.SOR-I (S&GAD) 9-36/81 dated 04-11-2006 = 40 years on 29-11-2010.
PLACE OF POSTING: Anywhere in the Punjab.
PAY: BS-17

SR. NO.148. (CASE NO.32-RF/2010) RECRUITMENT TO 01 POST OF ASSISTANT DIRECTOR (INFORMATION & FILMS) (BS-17) PLUS 30% SOCIAL SECURITY BENEFIT IN LIEU OF PENSION + 150/- SP ON CONTRACT BASIS FOR THE PERIOD OF 05 YEARS IN THE DIRECTORATE OF AGRICULTURAL INFORMATION, AGRICULTURE DEPARTMENT, PUNJAB, LAHORE.

QUALIFICATION: “B.Sc (Hons.) Agri. from a recognized University with five years experience in production of films and other audio visual aids from any Government autonomous or semi-autonomous organization or electronic media after acquiring B.Sc (Hons.) Agri.”

AGE: 21 to 28 + 05 years general relaxation in upper age limit as per Government of the Punjab, S&GAD circular letter No.SOR-I (S&GAD) 9-36/81 dated 04-11-2006 = 33 years on 29-11-2010.

PLACE OF POSTING: Rawalpindi.

PAY: (BS-17) Plus 30% Social Security benefit in lieu of pension+150/- SP.

ELIGIBILITY: Both Male & Female candidates domiciled in any district of the Province of Punjab.

IRRIGATION & POWER DEPARTMENT

SR. NO.149. (CASE NO.26-RE/2010) RECRUITMENT TO 06 POSTS (INCLUDING 01 POST RESERVED FOR FEMALE) OF ASSISTANT ELECTRIC INSPECTOR (BS-17) ON CONTRACT BASIS FOR THE PERIOD OF FIVE YEARS ON ALL PUNJAB BASIS IN THE PUNJAB IRRIGATION & POWER DEPARTMENT.



QUALIFICATION: “Degree (At least second division) in Electrical Engineering from a recognized University or an equivalent qualification and valid registration as a “Professional Engineer” with the Pakistan Engineering Council.



PAY: BS-17+30% contract allowance.
AGE: 21 to 30 + 05 years general relaxation in upper age limit as per Government of the Punjab, S&GAD circular letter No.SOR-I (S&GAD) 9-36/81 dated 04-11-2006 = 35 years on 29-11-2010.

ELIGIBILITY: Both Male & Female candidates domiciled in any district of Province of the Punjab.

2. In case large number of applications are received for post(s), short-listing of the eligible candidates will be done in any of the following methods:
a. Evaluation of the academic record.
b. Written test related to the job/qualification or general ability.
c. Combination of the above two methods.


3. Experience certificate of service rendered on ad hoc / current charge/acting charge basis must be issued by the appointing authority.
4. Fax applications from in-country candidates, will not be accepted.
5. Down loaded application forms from our website will also be acceptable.
6. “N.I.C valid on the closing date for receipt of applications will be accepted. However in case of expiry of NIC depositing receipt of NADRA for new NIC will be accepted at the time of interview”.
7. Note: In case of change/deletion/addition in any column of the prescribed application form, the candidate would be liable to the rejection of his candidature.
8. The number of posts may be increased or decreased at any stage.
9. IMPORTANT NOTE: Candidates will be admitted to the written examination / test provisionally at their own risk subject to their being found eligible in all respects. On detailed scrutiny of the applications of the candidates declared successful in the written examination / test, if any candidate is found ineligible in any respect under rules, his / her candidature will be cancelled regardless of the fact whether he/she has appeared in the written examination / test or qualified therein. To avoid frustration, the candidates are advised in their own interest to make sure before appearing in the examination that they fulfill all the requirements of the rules, relating to the examination.
